Join the MCPS Family Engagement Advisory Team

MCPS Family Engagement Advisory Team (FEAT)

MCPS致力于改善学生的学校体验和学业成功，并通过让家庭参与决策和项目审查来确保公平的学习机会. FEAT为MCPS家庭提供了机会，让他们了解并对地区的计划和倡议提供投入和反馈, ensuring that family connections are inclusive, individualized, integrated and impactful (from the National PTA “Four Is” framework for Transformative Family Engagement); and create uniform expectations and best practices for individual schools and districtwide decision making.

Team responsibilities include:

提供输入和反馈给MCPS中心办公室的员工, school staff and work groups on programs, activities, services, resources, and materials, including communication to families, and Parent Academy;
征求社区中其他家长的反馈;
参与在所有学校促进温馨环境的工作;
协助工作人员进行培训，以加强家庭宣传技能;

What We Do

We work to ensure families have the tools and opportunities to be active and effective partners in their children's school experience; and support schools and community partners in building family-school partnerships to support learning opportunities in the classroom, community, and at home.
